Although she has a master’s in architectural engineering, Candace much prefers building stories. Fictional worlds don’t have to follow the normal laws of physics, and no one gets mad if you let a troll or a rancor into the basement. When she’s not filling imaginary planets with dragons and interstellar wars, Candace enjoys sipping hot cocoa and pestering her children with mom jokes. Her other hobbies include singing off-key, taking her robovac on walks, and avoiding heights as if her life depends on it.
